___________________Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Ingredents:
4 russet potatoes
2 turnips, peeled and diced
1 cup peeled garlic cloves
1/3 cup heavy cream
2 oz. Butter
salt and white pepper to taste
 

Preparation:
Place potatoes, turnips, and garlic in large saucepan and cover with water.  Salt the water and bring to boil, cooking until soft. Heat the cream and butter in a small saucepan.  Empty the potatoes,turnips, and garlic into a colander and let stand until well drained. Place in a mixer (or use a hand mixer) and beat the potatoes with a wire wisk attachment.  Add cream and butter and mix until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.  Serve 4-6.
