Green Bean and Artichoke Casserole Recipe

  • 3 cans French cut green beans, drained
  • 4 Jars marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • ¾ c. olive oil
  • 4 tsp. ready-to-use Spice World Chopped Garlic
  • 2 lg. onions, chopped
  • 2 c. seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1-1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil; add artichoke and green beans. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add breadcrumbs and cheese. Stir mixture well. Place in 13 x 9 baking sheet. Sprinkle extra cheese on top. Drizzle more olive oil on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.


Jeannie’s Artichoke Casserole Recipe

  • 2 cans artichoke hearts (not marinated)
  • 1 c. Italian breadcrumbs
  • 3 tsp. ready-to-use Spice World Minced Garlic
  • ½ c. olive oil
  • 1 c. juice from artichoke
  • 8 oz. grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Chop artichokes in quarters. Mix artichokes, garlic, breadcrumbs, olive oil, artichoke juice, Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper. Place in two quart casserole dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Add lemon slices on top and cook another 10 minutes.


Blue Ribbon Dip Recipe

  • 1 (8 oz.) crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 tsp. ready-to-use Spice World Chopped Garlic
  • ½ c. olive oil
  • 2 T. red wine vinegar
  • 1 T. lemon juice
  • ½ c. red onion, chopped
  • ½ c. fresh parsley, minced
  • ¼ tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients and pour into shallow dish or pie plate. Refrigerate at least one hour before serving. Serve with cocktail slices of sour dough bread baguettes.


Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto Dip

  • 4 oz. sun dried tomatoes
  • ¾ c. olive oil
  • ¼ c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 c. fresh parsley, packed
  • 4-5 garlic cloves

Soften tomatoes in boiling water for one minute. Drain and pat dry. Combine tomatoes, oil, parsley, cheese and garlic in food processor until smooth. Serve with crackers or bread.


Tomato Pasta Salad

  • 5 lg. tomatoes, diced
  • ½ c. chopped fresh basil
  • 1-1/2 tsp. ready-to-use Spice World Minced Garlic
  • 1 (4-1/2 oz.) can chopped ripe olives
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. ground black pepper
  • 16 oz. penne pasta, cooked
  • 1/3 c. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. fresh mint, minced
  • 1 (8 oz.) mozzarella cheese, cubed

Combine diced tomatoes, basil, garlic, olives, salt and pepper; top with penne pasta. Set aside. Combine oil, mint leaves in a 1-cup glass, measuring cup; microwave on high for one minute. Pour over pasta; add cheese cubes and toss gently. Cover and chill.


Sautéed Mushroom Recipe

  • 4 tsp. ready-to-use Spice World Minced Garlic
  • 1/3 c. olive oil
  • 2/3 c. white wine vinegar
  • 1/3 c. dry white wine
  • 2 T. soy sauce
  • 2 T. honey
  • 2 T. chopped parsley, fresh
  • 1 T. salt
  • 2 lbs. fresh mushrooms

Sauté garlic in olive oil. Add vinegar, wine, soy sauce, honey, parsley, and salt. Stir until mixture is well blended and hot. Place mushrooms in heat-proof container with tight fitting lid. Pour hot mixture over mushrooms; allow marinating for 1-3 hours or more, turning over several times. Save marinade for later use on more mushrooms or use it as a salad dressing.


Best Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  • 6 cloves of Spice World garlic, peeled
  • 7 c. peeled and cubed potatoes
  • 1/2 c. low-fat milk
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Place potatoes and garlic in a saucepan. Cover with water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 20 minutes; drain. Place drained potatoes and Spice World garlic in a mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients; beat with mixer until smooth. Services 6 to 8.


Spinach Dip Recipe

  • 1 - 2 cloves of Spice World garlic, minced
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 T. fresh lemon juice
  • 10 oz. package frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • Assorted cracker
  • Assorted fresh vegetables

Stir together first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl until blended. Stir in spinach. Cover and chill at least 1 hour or up to 2 days. Serve with assorted crackers and vegetables.


Garlic Breadsticks

  • 1/2 c. butter/one stick of butter (may substitute with light butter or margarine if desired)
  • 2 oz. feta cheese (may substitute with reduced-fat feta if desired)
  • 3 tsp. Spice World Squeeze Premium Minced Garlic
  • 2 leaves of minced basil
  • 1 loaf of fresh French bread

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut loaf of French bread in half (length-wise) and set on a baking sheet. Mix the butter, feta cheese, Spice World Squeeze Premium Minced Garlic, and basil together until texture becomes spread-like. Add the mixture generously to both halves of the loaf. Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes or longer for crispier bread.
